India sauntered to their first series win with Gautam Gambhir as head coach and Suryakumar Yadav as full-time T20I captain by beating Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the second of the three-match T20I series. Sri Lanka had set a target of 162 for India to chase and that had to be reduced to 78 in eight overs due to rain. India ended up blasting their way to the target in 6.3 overs. (PTI)
