CM Kamal Nath to induct 20 ministers in Madhya Pradesh cabinet today

The names of the ministers have been finalised keeping in view regional and caste equations as well as national polls due next year, Congress leaders said.

42 officers, including 23 district magistrates, transferred in Madhya Pradesh

According to the list which was released late on Thursday, Bharat Yadav has been appointed district magistrate for Gwalior, Deepak Arya for Balaghat, Ganesh Shankar Mishra for Sehore, Bhaskar Lakshkar for Guna and Chhote Lal Singh for Bhind.

Govt staff, income tax payees not eligible for farm loans waiver in Madhya Pradesh

Government employees, public representatives from panch-sarpanch to MP and income tax payees cannot avail the crop loan waiver scheme announced by chief minister Kamal Nath on Monday in his first decision after assuming office, officials said.

On Monday, Kamal Nath through an order waived outstanding short-term crop loans of farmers up to Rs 2 lakh per head.(PTI)

Hard disks seized in Madhya Pradesh e-tendering row, clerk test on radar

A day after Kamal Nath took over as Madhya Pradesh chief minister, the police informed the state government on Tuesday that the Centre’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) has seized 11 hard disks related to the e-tendering scam.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Congress leader Kamal Nath as Madhya Pradesh CM, official sources said. Trinamool Congress MP Dinesh Trivedi will be representing the party at the event.
